Often times moms are the ones making sure everyone looks their best for family photos or get togethers. But sometimes she doesn’t want to think or do all the work. That’s where motherhood minis come in. It’s a special time to just show up, leave all the details to me and I'll make sure you look your best!

Lily turns 1! | Cake Smash Portraits | Milestone Photography | Solon, Ohio

We started with formal pictures for Lily’s first birthday. Since many parents like to have the cake smash pictures taken, we always wait until the end.

What do you get with cake smash photos? It’s a full hour session that includes the family and some traditional pictures. The photo are with my backdrop and the lifestyle area of my studio. We end with the customized them for the birthday shoot. I like to work with the family and help them plan for the birthday shoot. Lily was all red and black ladybugs. How cute is that?

Are you expecting in 2020?! The bump to baby newborn package was one of the favorites in 2019 for many expectant families. If you know you will want maternity, newborn and 1 year photos, then this package is the perfect fit for you. The package entails a 1 hour Maternity, 1.5 hour Newborn and 1 hour Milestone session to take place when you are ready. Often times people will say the best its yet to come. This couldn’t be more true for this sweet little family. I was asked by the family’s co-workers to purchase a photo session. I always believe photography sessions make the perfect gift and this present was for the parents to be. This little guy’s parent fought very hard for him and didn’t give up along the way. I was truly honored to photograph this sweet little guys first moments. I wish nothing but the best as the true gift is watching him grow through the years.

The Cleveland Botanical Gardens serves as a beautiful backdrop for maternity photos. My recent maternity session in May took place at the gardens. Even thought the flowers were not in full bloom yet, the grounds were still very breathtaking. Not to mention the indoor rain forest was fun place to for our shoot together.

Baby B is finally here. It is so exciting to first photograph the expectant parents during the maternity session and then finally meet the baby. Baby B was a dream to photograph, he did so well during his first photo shoot. My newborn photo shoots take place in my in home studio. They usually last 2 hours and is a nice mixture of both newborn and family poses.

I am excited to announce I am now offering the “itty bitty Newborn Mini Photography Sessions”. These session are for the Newborn only that take place at my home studio. It is a 1 hour session that includes 1 blanket and 1 prop set up with 2-4 different poses. With the mini you also receive 10 high resolution digital images with copyright and the option to purchase more. Because these are simply “mini sessions” and 1 hour in length the baby may be either awake or asleep for the pictures. I try my hardest to achieve those sleepy newborn poses but will continue even if the baby is awake. Honestly, they all turn out super adorable whether they are asleep or awake. I have even learned through the years to capture the baby blinking which looks like they are peacefully sleeping.

Newborn Lifestyle Photography | Cuyahoga County, Ohio | Cleveland, Ohio

It was a couple weeks before Christmas when I heard the news that one of my January Newborn clients was close to delivering. I was surprised and excited to hear the news. This beautiful family was scheduled in mid January for a lifestyle session in their home and their little boy couldn’t wait to get here.

This sweet little guy was born 3 weeks early and was such a perfect little baby. He was small little guy but such a pleasure to photograph. He slept most of the time while doing some of the family posing and we quickly moved to the newborn shots. I had so much fun visiting this family in their home. I were able to capture many fun lifestyle photos for them as well. Traveling to clients home for the Newborn/Lifestyle photos have become a favorite of mine. It really is a special memory for the family the moments captured in their home. They are really some timeless keepsakes to treasure.

Simply Beautiful Newborn Session | Cleveland, Ohio | Mentor, Ohio

One of my favorites backdrops or props with my Newborns is the Simply White backdrop. It is so pure, classy and elegant that puts all the focus on your newborn. My goal when photographing a newborn in this pose is to allow the baby to look the most natural and pure as they can. I’m not trying to do some crazy “yoga” poses with your precious little newborn but rather that him/her decide where and how to lay. Then I place a white sheet around the baby to accent them.
