Capturing all the tiny details in Newborn Photography!
Cleveland Newborn Photographer
As your Cleveland Newborn Photographer I Love for you to leave the session with a wide variety of Portraits. This is including all the tiny little macro shots of those baby hairs, tiny toes and little finger nails. These precious little details are only here for so long and are worth documenting.
Capturing the details in newborn photography is essential for showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of each newborn. Newborns possess delicate features and tiny characteristics that can easily be overlooked — the soft curls of hair, the delicate eyelashes, the tiny fingers and toes, and even the unique patterns of their skin.
Here are my tips and tricks in creating those soft beautiful detailed shots!
Close-Up Shots: I always use my macro lens and adjust the camera settings in order to get super close-ups of the newborn’s features. I like to focus on their eyes, lips, and a small hand clutching a finger. These shots create a connection and evoke emotion.
Natural Light: Utilize soft natural light to enhance the softness of their skin. Early morning or late afternoon light can provide a warm glow that highlights the newborn's features without harsh shadows.
Textures and Props: I like to Incorporate blankets, hats, or wraps with interesting textures. These props can create a sense of warmth and provide a pleasing contrast with the smoothness of the baby's skin, adding depth to the images. As you can see from my galleries, my images are very soft, light with an artistic point of view.
Patience and Timing: Newborns often have unpredictable schedules. Allow ample time for breaks and changes in position. A calm environment will result in more natural and relaxed photographs, allowing you to capture those fleeting expressions and gestures.
Editing: I take a lot of pride in my post processing editing. Each photo from every gallery is Hand Edited in order to provide nothing but the best for my families.

Studio 210 | Now available to rent | Cleveland Studio Photography Rental
When I started my photography journey many years ago. My dream was to always have my own shooting space, where I could be myself and allow creatively to flow. Now after working in my own home studio for over 6 years, it was time to have my own space. I understand the need and want to work within the walls of your own studio space.
After finally having my own space and loving every piece of it. I am ready to share with my fellow photographers for rental. My space is located on the second floor of a beautiful and historic building located in downtown Painesville. Suite 210.
The studio has almost 500 square feet with a private changing and client closet across the hall. The studio offers the use of a 3 tiered seamless hanging backdrop system. With gray, black and white seamless paper. I also offer mat flooring for newborn and cake smash shoots along with a shiny white board. Which makes clean ups after smash cakes that much easier!
The best part of the my studio is the additional shooting area called my Lifestyle area. This area features a bed, egg chair, and screen all decorated with a boho theme in mind. There is tons of beautiful light that flows in the studio all hours of the day. With the rental you are welcome to use my Einstein light as well. If you are a newborn photographer, you would have full access to all of my wraps, headbands, props and accessories.
Are you ready to try out a new rental space?? If so, please reach out and let’s chat, I would love to show you around.
Thanks~

Easter Mini Sessions with Live Bunnies
I was so excited to announce my Easter Mini Sessions with Live Bunnies! These cute little bunnies belonged to a friend of mine and she was more than happy to loan them for a day. At first I was a little worried with bunnies and kids. Most people will tell you photographing kids and animals can be a challenge. Forget about photographing them together;) I was very happy to announce both the kids and the bunnies were a dream to photograph. I couldn't believe how laid back these bunnies were no matter how many times they were tugged, pulled and carried around.
Overall, my first session of Easter Mini's with Live Bunnies was a success. This is something I would hope to offer again soon for my clients.

Sunflower Family Sessions
If you frequently travel around the Cleveland, Ohio area specifically Avon, Ohio you may have noticed the beautiful sunflower filed. This field can be seen off of I-90 in Avon, Ohio. This beautiful sunflower field is planted every year to raise awareness for childhood cancer, specifically Childhood Gliomas. The field is named "Marias field of Hope" and was started by the McNamara Family after they lost their beautiful 6 year old daughter Maria to a Brain Tumor. Now every year it is their mission to raise awareness to all the many of young children lost too soon to Childhood Cancer. The field is bittersweet as it boasts with beauty but also heartbreaking as you read about the many children still fighting a battle today. This field receives visitors in the month of September, as many families visit the field wanting to capture a few snapshots with their own family in the flowers. I was happy to host a sunflower family mini session with 5 families and I also donated a large percentage of my earnings to the Maria's Field of Hope Fund. Here are some of the beautiful images we created in the Sunflower Field.
