I’m so excited to announce the Cherry Blossom season is almost here in Cleveland, Ohio! It takes a while for spring to finally kick in here in Northeast Ohio. Especially today in March, when it’s still 25 degrees outside, ugh!

Oh, how I love how everything came together perfectly for this studio newborn shoot! This family nailed their neutral clothings by mixing it up with some browns, blacks and creams. Your photos need to be elegant, classy and timeless especially when looking at them 15 years from now. When choosing what to wear, I don’t recommend any thing too trendy, stripes or patterns. Baby Teagan | Bump to Baby Photography | Mentor, Ohio

This is such an exciting time in your life! From the moment you realize “I’m expecting” to the day your little one is born. When looking back this will be one of the most special and treasured moments of your life. I’m happy to offer the Bump to Baby Package in order to capture each moment. This package consists of 3 shoots, maternity, newborn and baby’s first birthday! When booked all together there is a significant cost savings as opposed to booking alone. If you already know or think you might want all 3 sessions, I recommend doing the package. The payments are not due until each session occurs, but its a great way to lock in your photographer. I often book up quickly but with the bump to baby package, you are guaranteed a spot on my calendar for each session. That way you can sit back and relax knowing all these special moments will be captured for you!

Hooray for turning 1 | Milestone Photography | Cake Smash | Northeast Ohio

Your child's first year flys by so very quickly. I’m sure you are asking yourself, how are they turning 1 years old already!? They do grow so very quickly, which makes documenting this time even more important. Wouldn’t it be fun celebrating their first birthday with a custom cake smash and first birthday photo session?! Your child's session will include a custom design that we plan together! I will proved the balloons and props to use during your session.

I also offer the full milestone session which includes the planning of the session and 40 digital images. I also offer a mini milestone which is a quick 30 minute session and 10 digital images with copyright to the photos. You are responsible for bringing the smash cake.

Mini Newborn Photography | Cleveland, Ohio | Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography often times can be a 2-3 hour session in order to capture the right poses and encourage the baby to sleep. Often times I have had families interested in a short and sweet session and not the full length process. I get it and understand it can be a long process and not for everyone. That is why I’ve added the mini newborn session that is a short and sweet session. Perfect for those that want a nice collection of photos but don’t plan to have their own photos taken.

The mini newborn session is a 1 hour session that is done whether the baby is awake or asleep. I really think beautiful photos happen whether the baby is awake or not. You still have full access to all of my high end accessories and props, your choice of items. The session does not include siblings or parents. In the end you get the choice of 12 print release photos with the option to purchase more.

Valentine Photo shoot | Cleveland, Ohio | Mini Session | Northeast Ohio

Can you feel the love?! I hosted a valentine mini photography shoot for the first time in 2020. With Valentines so close on the eve from Christmas, I never knew if people were ready for photoshoots. Well, of course they are. And especially when its heart, kisses, pink and red themed. My minis this year took place in my home studio with an option of 2 different backdrop choices. This was such a fun and sweet shoot that I plan to continue for many years to come. My goals for 2020 is to offer many more minis throughout the year. When it comes to professional photography it can be an investment from start to finish. I completely understand the time, energy and finances it takes from the moment you start googling “photographers near me” to the actual shoot day. The process can be daunting, whether your expecting and want every moment of your newborns life captured or your a busy mom of 3 who desperately needs updated photos. Its all a process from choosing and researching the best photographer for your family to coordinating outfits. My goal is to help take the stress out of those moments.

When booking with Danelle Joy Photography the very first thing I like to do is a Pre-session consult. This can be done via phone or email and its my chance to understand your needs, style and goals for the photo shoot. After all, anyone can take some quick pics of your family, but you want more than that, you want treasured moments.

The Pre-session consult includes discussing the best type of package, location and expectations during the shoot. I am also always happy to include my professional opinion for clothing choices as well. I have put together many articles that focus on starting in your own closet first and adding little pieces of clothing into the mix. You don’t need to go broke just for the photo shoot. I usually recommend many of my clothing finds from Target, Tj Maxx and Old navy.

Since I understand it is a large investment, NEW this year and included with my Signature Family and Newborn sessions is a custom 8x8 photo book and Video. I believe after all, you should receive more than just digital images from your session. The photo book is hand selected and created by me, featuring the favorite photos. I am so excited to be offering a Video new this year. This will be a collection of behind the scenes and photos all put together like a slideshow. Oh cool is that.

Lifestyle Newborn Photography! Newborn photography session that focuses on more lifestyle candid photos of how life takes place naturally in the comforts of your own home. My areas of choice to shoot while in your home is the nursery, master bedroom and living room. If you would still like a nice selection of traditional newborn photos all I need is a nice small area close to window.

The lifestyle session includes a 2-3 hour in home session. I bring all of my newborn accessories and props to you as well. Also includes 50 high resolution images with copyright plus 8x8 custom photo book. I'm a strong believer that photos need to be printed and not left on a computer.
