It is always the biggest compliment when I see parents come in for photos with their 2nd and 3rd child. It is such an honor to watch their families grow over the years. This sweet session was the family’s 2nd child and was such a dream at his first newborn shoot.

When should newborn pictures take place? I recommend anytime from day 5 to day 15 of life.

Does it have to be in that time frame? This is a strong recommendation if you would like the pictures to look like the ones you’ve seen on my website. Within that time frame the babies are usually sleepier and easier to wrap for the photos. Once they reach the 1 month age, they have grown and changed so much!

What newborn packages do you offer? I offer both a the full 2 hour shoot which includes family, newborn and sibling pictures. I also offer a petite newborn shoot for 1 hour. These photos are just of the baby alone.

What’s included with the newborn packages? The packages include the shooting time, full access to all high end wraps, bonnets and props. It also includes a minimum of 40 digital images. I usually send anywhere fro 40-50 images. You’ll also receive 20% off my professional printing services.

When should you book a Newborn Session? I recommend researching and booking your photographer during your second trimester. I know it’s early but my calendar does fill up and you can’t wait until the baby is born. It will be hard to find an open photographer.

Oh how I love traveling to families home and photographing their newest arrival. Once your home and settled the last thing you may feel like doing is leaving the house. So let me bring my studio to you! When I visit families home I bring many of my props, swaddles and items needed to create a beautiful gallery in the comforts of your home. The session consists of both traditional newborn portraits in props as well as lifestyle shots. These shots are done with the family and usually take place throughout the home. They are the more candid and intimate shots and less posed. But I understand how most families want both type of pictures. I offer both, so no need to choose!

This is such an exciting time in your life! From the moment you realize “I’m expecting” to the day your little one is born. When looking back this will be one of the most special and treasured moments of your life. I’m happy to offer the Bump to Baby Package in order to capture each moment. This package consists of 3 shoots, maternity, newborn and baby’s first birthday! When booked all together there is a significant cost savings as opposed to booking alone. If you already know or think you might want all 3 sessions, I recommend doing the package. The payments are not due until each session occurs, but its a great way to lock in your photographer. I often book up quickly but with the bump to baby package, you are guaranteed a spot on my calendar for each session. That way you can sit back and relax knowing all these special moments will be captured for you!

Can you feel the love?! I hosted a valentine mini photography shoot for the first time in 2020. With Valentines so close on the eve from Christmas, I never knew if people were ready for photoshoots. Well, of course they are. And especially when its heart, kisses, pink and red themed. My minis this year took place in my home studio with an option of 2 different backdrop choices. This was such a fun and sweet shoot that I plan to continue for many years to come. My goals for 2020 is to offer many more minis throughout the year. I was so excited to hear from this friend of mine that told me she was expecting. Not only was she expecting but she also wanted me to photograph her Newborn Photos. This family have been waiting for a sweet blessing from above to arrive for some years. They were finally blessed with a baby girl that now completes their family of four.
